In the distorting view which a camera gives it doesn't look very far from the summit of Ben Lawers to its neighbouring Munro: Beinn Ghlas. The route down from the Lawers summit is very worn and quite precarious in places - I always use a stick these days which I suppose contributes to the footpath wear.
